Monday, February 23rd: Saw Her Stand Up There - 8pm
It’s Ladies Night! This monthly stand-up show features a cast of all female players. Host Andrea Shaprio (from the weekly Bunk Bed Hour open mic) recruited some of her all-star friends to visit this month, including: Caitlin Brodnick (Glamour, The Moth) Giulia Rozzi (MTV, Chelsea Lately), Poppi Kamer (VH1, E!), Jessica Delfino (“What Would Jesus Buy?”, CNN). Wednesday, February 25th: Solo Selections - 7pm
This month, Sam Dingman and Tucker Sparkman headline our series of solo performances with “Baggage” - an inside look at the life of an NYC bellhop and “Oh, the Jobs I thought I Could Do!” - a journey through a grown man’s hunt for a career. Both of these fellas have expansive & impressive resumes, so don’t miss out!
Thursday, February 26th: Astoria Creatives Meetup - 7pm
Astoria Creatives welcomes writers, singers, painters, accountants, teachers, and anything else the left side of you brain can think of. Move over, Pinterest*! In this class, you’ll learn how to master trendy and pretty braids. (*Actually if you wanted to pin some of your new tricks, that’s highly encouraged. You’ll look great!)
Sunday, March 1st: Jam for Astoria Park Alliance - 12pm
Come out for a good time AND a good cause on Sunday afternoon. Colin Dempsey and Chris Pizzolo will deliver some groovy tunes, and Alex Carabaño will do a stand up set.The $20 admission price includes one drink and all proceeds benefit the Astoria Park Alliance.
