  • "There was not a single dry eye in the audience. The ability to be so raw on a stage in front of over one hundred people is impressive, but the ability to make the audience feel like we’re right there with her is a gift." - Main Street Magazine

Moth StorySlam winner and host of That Wasn't Supposed to Happen podcast, Heather Dell'Amore's No Hope for OZ, is a wakeup call for anyone recovering from childhood and recklessly considering parenthood. In this hilarious and heart-wrenching solo show directed by Samantha Jones (Butterfly Suicide, BULL/CBS, Murder at the End of the World/FX), writer/performer Dell'Amore pulls no punches. She leads the audience through a kaleidoscope '90s nostalgia—good and bad—and covers the parts of  motherhood no one else is talking about.  With unfiltered honesty, uproarious humor, and over-the-top physical comedy, Dell’Amore delivers a performance that's as unforgettable as it is thought-provoking.

Heather Dell’Amore is a writer and improvisational actor with Hudson Valley Improv’s House Team and Touring Company. Her writing and performance credits include Chronogram, Organic Hudson Valley, The Moth (Winner), That Wasn’t Supposed to Happen (creator/host), Hudson Valley Improv, New Tricks Stories, The Catskills Comedy Festival, Boughton Place, The Secret Open Mic, The Phoenicia Festival of the Arts, Stissing Center. Originally from Flushing, NY, she now resides down the block from a dairy farm. Her life happily filled with cheese.
