Join us for an hour of writing at QED, the creative arts space voted #1 in all of NYC by Time Out NY readers.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
No matter what you're writing, you are invited to shut up and write it with us for one hour. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice.
SAT, FEB 18 - 1PM - 2:30PM
SAT, MAR 4 - 1PM - 2:30PM
SCHEDULE:
1st 10-15 mins - Grab a refreshment, check in, make quick introductions
60 mins - Timer starts! Write!
Final 10 - 15 mins - Chat, take off, or hang out at QED.
OPTIONAL - If the group would like such a thing, there is the option to have an open mic / reading at QED but we'd have to schedule it in advance.
We'll play some ambient beats, but bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block that out or the occasional conversation by other patrons.

QED has free WiFi & several outlets available
Street parking; short walk from the Ditmars (last stop) off the N train
ONE MAIN RULE: There is a zero tolerance policy at QED for outside food or drinks other than your water bottle. QED is a performing arts space by and for creatives that is kept affordable and accessible. Please help keep it that way by thanking our hosts with a purchase of food or drinks or something from the book/gift shop.
