Unpacking the Punchline is a unique blend of comedy and catharsis where Adri Fernandez, an NYC-based comedian, performs 30 minutes of stand-up and then invites a licensed therapist to dissect her set.
This month will feature Dr. Jessica Koblenz.
She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Cornerstone Psychological Services in Astoria, Queens, a group psychotherapy practice for young professionals in Astoria. They treat individuals, couples, children, adolescents and families. She specializes in trauma, is EMDR trained, is also trained in IFS. She is a Certified Group Provider (CGP) awarded by the AGPA. Her work has appeared in peer-reviewed journal articles, Reader’s Digest, Women’s Health, and Self Magazine to name a few. She is the former Director of Training at Holliswood Hospital, and the former Clinic Director of PSCH Canarsie’s Mental health clinic where she oversaw 500 patients. She also has a history of performing Improv comedy, with UCB, Astoria Women’s Improv and also performed with on team with FOHI improv.
