It's a brand new season of "That Slapstick Show!" with a very special screening devoted to the funny ladies of the silent film era. During the 1910s and 1920s, female comediennes proved the can go head to head with their male counterpart for laughs. This showcase will give attendees a chance to see these funny gals take on the challenges on the rigors of physical comedy
We will feature four rarely seen comedy shorts featuring some of the forgotten talented women of silent film comedy including Dorothy Devore, Katherine Grant, Gale Henry and the star of the show, Louise Fazenda. Film prints provided by the Library Of Congress and the British Film Inst.
With live musical accompaniment by our very own Charlie Judkins.
SPECIAL ADDED ATTRACTION!
Includes a special intermission live performance by noted ragtime musical artist, Miss Maybell. So join us for an evening of laughs.
