Wednesday, February 4th: Stand Up for Beginners - 8pm

It’s a milestone week for the students at QED, because yes, there’s another graduation show! The students of Carole Montgomery’s introductory class shed their fears and strut their stuff for you on stage, and you know what? These kids are pretty friggin funny.

Thursday, February 5th: Laugh it Up, Astoria! - 9pm

Astoria-bred hosts Liz Simmons and Jen Wehrung return to blow you away with a night of comedy. The lineup features: Selena Coppock, Calvin S. Cato, Livia Scott and Jenny Rubin. Turns out, they’ve got some pretty funny stories about love.

    Friday, February 6th: Drink ‘N’ Draw - 9pm

Cozy up and come sketch with us! A live (non-nude) model will pose for 3 hours while you drink and fraternize with your fellow creatives. The $10 ticket includes a drink, but you’ll need to bring your own materials.

Saturday, February 7th: Board Game Meetup - 3pm

We’ve got every board game, from the mainstream to the obscure, on tap at QED. While you play, enjoy our new spread of gourmet snacks and wraps (and the stellar beer and wine list, of course). Come alone, come with friends, but definitely come with your A-game.

    Sunday, February 8th: Non-Fiction Proposal Workshop - 12pm

Before you write a nonfiction book, you’ll need to pitch a hefty proposal to the suits at the publishing company. Author Kambri Crews guides you through the major steps of this grueling process so you can walk away with the intel you need to succeed.
