Hey writer friends!
I’m so excited to invite all writers in their 20s to a creative writing session PLUS poetry open mic! This event will be at the one of a kind Q.E.D. in Astoria, where we’ll meet from 1:30-3 as a group to get to know each other and spend some dedicated time writing together. An optional prompt will be provided. Then at 3, we’ll stick around for the poetry open mic hosted by The Queens Poet! QED is a community events and performance space as well as a bar and cafe. To attend this meet up purchase of food or drinks is required, but attendance is free! Please bring a notebook or laptop for your writing.

ONE MAIN RULE: There is a zero tolerance policy at QED for outside food or drinks other than your water bottle. QED is a performing arts space by and for creatives that is kept affordable and accessible.
