Host Lisa Levy is a conceptual artist and comedic performer who currently has a multi-media art installation on view at BAM. Lisa began her performance career over 10 years ago by doing psychotherapy on stage with audience volunteers. This quickly led to a feature story in the New York Times and then on to many other performance opportunities.
Lisa has played a game show host as well as Self-Proclaimed Psychotherapist, Dr. Lisa, in a wide range of shows of her own creation. She’s had many well-know comedians on her “Stand-Up, Lie Down” comedy show couch including Ted Alexandro, Dave Hill, Ophira Eisenberg, Eugene Mirman, Leslie Goshko, Liam McEneaney, and Seth Herzog with his mom in family therapy. (His mom’s would like to hear from Seth more often when they aren’t working together.)
