Little Storytellers: Summer Stage is designed to spark the imagination of young children through stories, movement, drama exercises, and guided play.
Over the course of five consecutive days, children will explore what it means to tell a story — first by listening, then by acting, and ultimately by creating and sharing their own.
This workshop is a collaboration between Pedro Carmo, a professional actor, director, and acting teacher, and Ana Duarte Carmo, a writer and global communications expert with a background in journalism and arts reporting.
Our goal is that “Little Storytellers” becomes a joyful and nurturing space where kids can build verbal, emotional, and social skills through theatrical storytelling. The week will end with a casual group performance so children can proudly share what they’ve imagined and created.
The program is recommended for kids ages 4-8. We will meet Monday-Friday from 10 AM to 12 PM. To register, fill out the google form below. If you need more info please reach out to littlestorytellers.astoria@gmail.com.
Classes capped at 10 children.
