Marie Carter is an NYC-based writer and tour guide who hails from Scotland. She is a tour guide with Boroughs of the Dead, a macabre and ghostly historical walking tour company. She designed and leads the tour “Haunting Histories and Legends of Astoria,” as well as giving tours on Roosevelt Island and throughout Manhattan. She is the author of the upcoming Mortimer and the Witches (from Fordham University Press), as well as The Trapeze Diaries and the novel, Holly’s Hurricane.
