Amanda B. Goodman is an Astoria NYC native writer/director/actor whose films and screenplays specialize in merging the horrific with the funny! She wrote her first horror screenplay at twelve, and while it wasn’t her best work to date (she was after all twelve), it produced the gem of a line: “Shut up you whore I’m from the Philippines” and explained what a Pepy monster was. As an actor she’s worked heavily in the voiceover world and in TV & Film, most recently appearing in the 3rd season of Comedy Central’s Broad City. While she continues to bring the wacky stories in her brain to life through various mediums, she also teaches acting and writing privately in Astoria. For more on Amanda, check out
